The Jesus of the Pays Basque is a large calibre salami. Cured for a minimum of 8 weeks, Jesus always remains soft at heart. It is characterized by its dark red cut and unique fragrance.
Like all our natural cut salamis, the Jesus from Pays Basque can be stored in a dry and ventilated place. If you prefer it soft and tender, keep it wrapped in a dry cloth in the crisper, the cold will slow down its drying.
Finely sliced, enjoy this salami as an appetizer with other pork and raw vegetables, as an aperitif with some guindillas, cherries in vinegar, or take it on a hike for a snack. Its perfume and aroma will surprise you.
In 2016, it received the Bronze Medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris. In 2014, he was awarded the Silver Medal.
