Colour: ruby red with intensity.
Bouquet: aromas of red berries, spices, fresh ground pepper, floral notes of peony or violet.
On the palate: fresh attack, beautiful structure, perfect balance. Surprisingly tart notes of slightly spicy red fruit.
Serving: at cellar temperature around 16 °C. The Trousseau grape variety allows conservation of about 15 years.

Trousseau, rare and surprising
A late and demanding grape variety of Comtoise origin, the Trousseau requires lighter, gravelly and hotter soils. Once vinified, it develops intense, peppery, spicy flavours and red fruit accents.
