Oenology
Chardonnay, floral and elegant
Originally from Burgundy but cultivated in the Jura since the 10th century, Chardonnay has become a child of the country. Its great adaptability makes it the most widespread grape variety. Cultivated on calcareous soils and light soils, it yields floral white wines with citrus aromas, peach and white flowers, but also hazelnut or roasted almond in association with Savagnin.
